Why Deposits Matter: A Transparent Look at the Business Side of Sex Work

"Why does this chick always insist on deposits? It’s annoying!"

I know, right? You’re in the mood, you find a sex worker online who says she’s available, and then – boom – she insists on a deposit. Your excitement takes a nosedive. Why is she killing your vibe? Isn’t she supposed to make you feel sexy and eager for your business?

Let’s clear the air and address why deposits are essential to me in this line of work. Yes, requiring a deposit means I miss out on a significant amount of money each week. But the risks of accepting bookings without deposits far outweigh the potential financial loss, and here’s why.

Understanding the Realities Behind my Deposit Policy

Firstly, I run a business. Like any independent professional, I have business expenses – but with higher stakes. Think about a mechanic or a GP: both require commitment from their clients because their time and resources are valuable. If a mechanic blocks out time for your car repair or a doctor sets aside time for your consultation, they count on that. My work operates on the same principle, but with added layers of safety and logistics.

The Hidden Risks and Real Costs

When I receive a booking request, I don’t just show up. It takes me about two hours to get ready: perfecting my appearance for you, arranging a suitable in-call location, setting up the room, or preparing for an outcall with travel arrangements. This also includes booking a driver or security – people who ensure my safety and are paid for their time.

Imagine doing all of this without a deposit, only for the client to cancel last minute or disappear. It’s not just lost time; it’s lost income and personal sacrifices. Like other professionals, I have to make decisions that balance financial needs with personal safety and peace of mind.

Why Deposits Foster Trust and Respect

A deposit is a gesture of commitment and respect for my boundaries. It reassures me that the client values my time, effort, and safety. Without it, I’d have to guess at someone’s intentions, which isn’t a gamble worth taking. The hard truth is that a few bad actors can ruin it for everyone. Whether it’s sudden cancellations, no-shows, or more serious safety concerns, deposits help filter genuine clients from those who are not ready to engage respectfully. I get at least 20 booking requests per day. If I accepted all of those without deposits, I would be handing out my address to several strangers per day.

Safety First, Always

While I won’t go into detail about specific safety issues, know that they are very real. Accepting bookings without deposits can leave me vulnerable. I’d rather earn less and maintain a secure work environment than chase high-risk income.

I only share my location or personal details after receiving a deposit. Although it’s not foolproof, it’s a necessary precaution that helps me relax more and do my job well. Would you rather engage with someone who is confident and at ease or someone tense and worried? Deposits create an environment where I can welcome you fully, knowing my boundaries have been respected.

The Bottom Line

If you value a seamless, respectful, and enjoyable experience, understand that paying a deposit is part of it. It’s not about being “hungry for money”; it’s about mutual respect and safety. If you can’t meet this basic expectation, then I simply won’t open my space or energy to you. It’s that straightforward.

Deposits may be inconvenient for some, but they’re non-negotiable for me. If you're ready to engage with that understanding, we’re already on the right path.
